This is a picture of a collage shadowbox that my mom made and surprised me with for Christmas.In fact, she made nine of them….
The picture in the center is of my grandmother who recently passed from this Earth into Glory. She was 98 years old. (I think she is 16 in the picture.) My mom collected pieces of her favorite jewelry, crocheted doilies made by her, all of her gloves and other little what-not’s, from her home, to create these beautiful memorials.
She made one for each of the grandchildren and each one is different. What a unique treasure!
Thank you mom! I love it and will keep it always.
